Molly
Molly is a unique fish which has become extremely popular with hobbyists. These peaceful creatures come in many vibrant shades and colours. The scientific name the molly species is Poecilia sphenops while there are some other names for variations of this type.
This variety is bred in lots of different colors and patterns. It’s most distinctive feature is the large dorsal fin which is taller and runs from behind the head to just before the caudal fin. Males have modified anal fins and tend to be slender, while females are a little rounder in shape.
